Skinner Fundraising

Like most schools, Skinner has lots of needs and holds various types of fundraisers to raise money to meet those needs. Please considering donating to Skinner via the options below:

Direct Donation

The Skinner Middle School PTO is the non-profit fundraising arm of Skinner. All donations are 100% tax deductible. Don’t forget to check with your employer to see if your company has a donation matching program!

You can also make a direct donation via cash or check (payable to: “Skinner PTO”), you can drop your donation off with Ms. Chavira, Skinner Office Manager, in the Skinner main office.

Fundraising Events
  • The annual Jewels of Highlands Home Tour sponsored by Nostalgic Homes takes place in September or October. (Unfortunately the tour has been cancelled in 2020-22 due to COVID) This event typically raises over $50,000 annually for Skinner. Visit Jewels Home Tour for more information and to purchase tickets.  Please contact Rebecca Caldwell at or 720-424-1495 for more information on sponsorship or volunteering for this great event.
  • The annual Skinner Fall Festival which happens on the 2nd Saturday in October is a great fundraiser AND community event. Community families bring the whole family for a fun day at Skinner. Proceeds from the many different games and activities benefit specific clubs, Learning Families and classes at Skinner.
  • Skinner has many “Dine-Outs” throughout the school year. Typically when you mention “Skinner” at checkout, a portion of your total purchase will be donated back to Skinner! Watch your weekly family newsletter for info on upcoming Dine-Outs!
