8th grade Parent/Student Continuation Meeting - April 23rd
Please join us on April 23rd 6-7pm in Skinner Auditorium for the 8th grade Continuation Meeting. We’ll be sharing information on 8th grade Continuation Events, Continuation Expectations, and the Continuation Participation Contract. Our hope is that all 8th grade families and students will attend. If you or your child are not able to attend, a follow-up email will be sent with resources for you to review.

Dear Skinner Families,
We are thrilled to invite you to The Skinner Sting, a community-building event and fundraiser designed to bring our Skinner friendships together! Whether you are a long-time Skinner family or a new family joining us for the upcoming school year, we can't wait to welcome you to the community.
This adult-only event is intended to strengthen friendships and create new ones while supporting vital school programs. Proceeds from the event will directly benefit our mental health programming and essential classroom supplies or programs nominated by the teachers.

Date: Saturday, May 2, 2026
Time: 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Location: Lot 46 Music Bar (Edgewater Inn at 5302 W 25th Ave, Edgewater, CO)
Tickets: Each ticket includes two drinks and two slices of pizza, a salad and 2 drinks
Our goal is simple: to build a stronger community amidst our neighbors while providing for our students. We look forward to seeing new and familiar faces for an evening of fun and support for Skinner. Go Scorpions!

Boys Basketball Tryout Information
Tryouts will be in the East gym and are for 7th and 8th graders only!
The 7th grade tryout is Wednesday, February 11th from 3:30-5:00 pm
The 8th grade tryout is Friday, February 13th from 3:30-5:00 pm
Call backs will be Wednesday, February 18th from 3:30-5:00 pm (subject to change based on volleyball playoffs)
