What a night! Thank you to everyone who came out on Saturday night to support the first ever Skinner Sting. It was a huge success on so many levels, and truly a party with a purpose. It was such a joy to see our community show up for one another and rally around something that matters so deeply: supporting student mental health and essential programs at Skinner.
We had over 150 people in attendance, and while we’re still finalizing the numbers, we are so excited to report that we exceeded our $25,000 fundraising goal. That’s incredible, and a direct reflection of the generosity, energy, and spirit of this community. This also means that we will be able to put that money toward supporting mental health programming at Skinner.
We’ll be sharing more updates soon on how these funds will support students and staff this year, along with a look ahead to next year. For now, just know how grateful we are–for your time, your contributions, and your commitment to Skinner. Whether you gave money, volunteered, donated items, or simply showed up to be part of the fun, it all mattered.
