DPS believes that all students should have the same access to quality schools, regardless of their background or where they live in Denver. Every DPS student is guaranteed enrollment in a neighborhood school.
Skinner is part of the DPS Northwest Denver Middle School Enrollment Zone. Click here for information about Enrollment Zones. Please click here for more specific information about the NW MS Enrollment Zone.
Because Skinner is part of the NW Middle School Enrollment Zone, families wishing to attend Skinner MUST take part in DPS SchoolChoice. No student is automatically assigned to Skinner.
Families submit one SchoolChoice application per student, on which they rank up to 12 school preferences. DPS then matches students to schools based on those preferences, as well as school admission priorities and available space. For more information about the DPS SchoolChoice process, please go to: http://schoolchoice.dpsk12.org/
