Support the Neighborhood Center on Colorado Gives Day!

Colorado Gives Day is Tuesday, Dec. 6!

Skinner families, as you may know, the Neighborhood Center at Skinner Middle School has become an integral part of the school day for many students. Our attendees have demonstrated better school attendance, as well as higher test scores in math and reading (13%) and writing (8%).

The Neighborhood Center is funded through grants. Over the past few years, these funds have been harder to come by and we have worked hard to find new ways to support our programs. Neighborhood Center programs are an important resource for students who need (or want) extra academic, recreational, or vocational experiences.

One of our major fundraising events for the year is on Colorado Gives Day, December 6th. With a tax-deductible $20 donation, you can provide a scholarship for a student that may not be able to attend one of our specialty programs, such as STEM Scouts, cooking, woodshop, computer coding or comic strip drawing.

You can donate today, or schedule your donation to happen on Colorado Gives Day 2016, December 6th. Simply click here to make or schedule your tax-deductible donation.

Please consider a gift to our 501c3 ‘Northwest Neighborhood Center Friends’ so we can continue to provide high-quality programming for our students. THANK YOU!

Colorado Gives Day is an annual statewide movement to celebrate and increase philanthropy in Colorado through online giving. For the sixth consecutive year, Community First Foundation and FirstBank are partnering to present Colorado Gives Day on Tuesday, December 6, 2016.
