Skinner Wins DPS MyTech Grant – 1:1 Chromebooks in 2017-18!

Skinner is so pleased to announce that our school was selected as one of the DPS MyTech grant recipients! Each and every Skinner Scholar will receive a Chromebook for work at school AND home next school year and beyond! This 1:1 technology will allow our scholars to grow even more.

Thank you to the Skinner team who worked so hard on the grant application and huge thank you to the DPS MyTech committee AND to Denver voters for approving the 2016 DPS Bond/Mill Levy!

Skinner Scientists Place at State Science Fair!

HUGE CONGRATS to Skinner Scientists Juno Gregg and Josh Miller who competed last week in the State Science Fair. Juno received a special award from the American Public Power Association & Platte River Power Authority and Josh received SECOND PLACE in the Earth and Space division! Congratulations to everyone involved in helping the students get to this level and congrats to Josh and Juno! (Juno pictured second from left in group photo).

Skinner Artists’ work chosen for District Art Show!

Congrats to Jalen Proctor, Jade DeCamillis and Annika Miller and Art Teacher Ms. Nook for having their student artwork selected for the DPS Citywide Middle School Art Show! You can see their work and others displayed at the downtown main Denver Public Library. All are invited to the Reception and Awards Ceremony.
